Thursday June 4th

This morning we went to a local park about eight blocks away. Kendall wanted to play at a playground. When we arrive we discover that it is one of the schools lunch time and all the school kids are playing. Kendall is overwhelmed and we only stay about 15 minutes. We decide to take the light rail into Newport to the mall and look for some boots for Kendall’s gosee. The light rail is right outside our apartment building. I am not sure again about which ticket we need or which rail to get on but once again I ask someone and they are helpful. We buy a one-way ticket, $1.90 for an adult and .95 for a child’s ticket and take the light rail into Newport. Only five minutes there and we are dropped off right in front of the Newport mall. No boots at the mall but we do find other shoes Kendall likes. Back to the light rail we find out that you have until the stamped time on your ticket (90 minutes) to get back on the light rail with the same one-way ticket. We are able to go back with the same one-way ticket. We go into the city via the path and get off onto 33rd St. We are only six blocks away. Calvin Klein is on 39th St. between 7th Ave and 8th Ave. I am surprised at how easy it is to get around the city. I find Calvin Klein easily. We arrive and sit at a table and wait for Kendall to be called back. There are about four other girls and four boys waiting. We end up being there for one hour. Kendall is the last one and they have her change into a Calvin Klein denim skirt and white tank top. They take some pictures and a short video. It is a fun experience for us both. We receive a message from the owner that the gas should be on and head back to Hoboken to make dinner. When we arrive we find that the gas is still off. I notify the owner who is again surprised and says it should definitely be back on by tomorrow. Kendall and I decide to order Pizza. We talk to Christian and Liz on the web cam again and it is nice to see them and talk with them.
