It was hard to get any good pictures of the fireworks but we enjoyed watching them. The park was crowded as expected but well secured. There we low flying helicopters circling the park and planes in the sky encircling the Hudson River to watch over. It was well organized and it was amazing as we walked back to the apartment to look back behind us down the street and see all the people. I have never seen so many people in one place at a time. Tom had out the video recorder to record all the people.
We were thinking about you as we waited for our fireworks in the Fort. Ben said it would be funny to take a picture of your fireworks on the television and sent it to you with the message, "wish you were here."
